A few blog post back you may recall the shoot I did with Rachel & Andrew around the city of Nottingham ( Pre Shoot ) well at long last below is a selection of their wedding images. R & A were a fantastic couple to work with, always willing, endless energy and an amazing sense of style and grace, This is evident in her choice of dress which is a bespoke design by the amazing designer Todd Lynn, Todd also designed the bridesmaids dresses and mothers outfits. The wedding was held at Prestwold hall, one of the Midlands premier wedding locations. A huge thank you go’s to R & A and all their family and friends, it is truly a pleasure to photograph a Bride and Groom who have become my friends. What makes it more special is the thank you email i received from John, Rachel’s Father. It was evident the closeness of father and daughter, made even clearer after reading the email and with his kind permission I have put it here for all to read…. Thanks John…
The album you created of Rachel and Andy’s wedding on 7th September has “done the rounds” over the Christmas period and has met with unanimous praise.
It is the most beautiful of photograph albums. I appreciate I am biased, but it truly is.
There was a huge debate as to whether to have a video record of the day, and Rachel and Andy decided against it.
What an excellent decision!
This album can be picked up, dipped into ,pored over, and enjoyed so easily.
A video really has to be watched in its entirety or kept in the cupboard.
Just as important to us is the fact that there are some fantastic photographs.
And they are not just the ones of the bride and groom!
The composition of so many shots is fantastic, and the clarity and focus superb.
It was also a pleasure to have you around on the day.
All this adds up to a huge thank you for what you have done to make the memory of such a wonderful day such a treat.
I hope you have had an enjoyable Christmas, that you have a good New Year, and that 2014 brings you all you seek.
Your work for us will be treasured by all of us forever.
With best wishes,
